I’m honored to have been interviewed by ZDF (one of Germany’s most influential public broadcasters) about GorillaWatch - the machine learning system my team and I are developing as part of our Bachelor’s degree at the Hasso Plattner Institute.
The goal: to help protect endangered western lowland gorillas in the Republic of the Congo by enabling automated detection and re-identification from wildlife videos.

We were featured in Mitteldeutsche Zeitung (MZ), one of the leading regional newspapers in central Germany, for winning the Startup Teens Award in the “Services & Platforms” category — and taking home €10,000 in prize money!
Our app SafeSpace is designed to enhance personal safety in everyday life. It alerts trusted contacts when a user deviates from a predefined route or takes too long — sharing their live location and battery status in real time.
We developed the app while still in high school, and the Startup Teens event gave us the incredible opportunity to connect with successful entrepreneurs — even chatting casually with the founders of Flixbus!

I recently gave an interview in the Sachsen-Anhalt Podcast (Saxony Anhalt Podcast) where I discussed my journey as a young tech developer. I talked about my reading app Readisfying, designed to help elementary school children improve their reading skills by identifying mispronounced words.
I also shared my plans to bring this app to market and my involvement in the startup behind Safe Space - an app aimed at providing women with a safer way home by allowing communication with trusted contacts and alerting them if a predefined route is left.
It was a great opportunity to showcase how young people can have clear visions and make meaningful impacts in tech and entrepreneurship at just 18 years old.

Honored to have been featured in the Mitteldeutsche Zeitung (MZ) - a major regional newspaper in eastern Germany - for my participation in the “Jugend forscht” science competition.
As part of the competition, I developed a reading app for primary school children that uses speech recognition and gamification to make learning to read more engaging and effective. Over 100 hours of programming went into this project, which was awarded first place in the category of Mathematics.
The regional event was hosted by Bayer in Bitterfeld and brought together young talents and innovative projects across six disciplines — from AI-powered robots to virtual reality maze simulations.
